What we collect

TeenPilot collects information you provide directly — your name, email, year level, school, timetable, assignments, sport and work schedule. We also collect usage data to improve the product.

What we never share

Your Co-Pilot conversations, wellbeing check-ins and personal messages are private. We never share individual student data with schools, teachers or third parties without your explicit consent.

School data

If you connect your Microsoft or Google school account, we access only what's needed to power your experience — timetable, assignments and calendar. This is read-only, and you can disconnect at any time.

Parent access

Parents see aggregated information — upcoming assignments, exam dates, sport schedule and workload level. They never see your Co-Pilot conversations or wellbeing check-ins.

Data storage

Your data is stored in a managed Postgres database (Supabase) hosted in Sydney, Australia, and the service is delivered through Vercel. TeenPilot is operated by Agentec Ltd (Auckland, New Zealand). We comply with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and we will action verified requests. To make a request, email privacy@teenpilot.co.nz.

TeenPilot is designed for secondary school students aged 13 and over. By using TeenPilot you agree to use it honestly and responsibly.

Free and paid plans

The free plan is available with no time limit. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in NZD. You can cancel at any time — no refunds for partial months.

Fair use

Message limits apply per plan. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse the service or attempt to circumvent limits.

AI-generated content

Co-Pilot responses are AI-generated and for guidance only. They are not a substitute for professional academic, medical or mental health advice.
